Some good news for people looking to buy houses in Montgomery county: according to The Courier, the commissioner approved a 10% homestead exemption. The team is working on getting a 20% exemption this year passed.

Finally on a fun note: Speedsportz Racing Park is now open in New Caney. In addition to an incredible race track, they offer classes for Go Kart Racing. They have a special running for $20 a person but there are age and height requirements (so check out their website). It's going to be a great weekend to try out this course and have some fun.
